Wireless gas detector
The mains-powered JA-80G senses combustive gas leaks using a hot platinum filament sensor. Wirelessly signals to alarms with a relay output to shut down electric gas valves. The detector wirelessly communicates with EyeSee and EYE-02 mobile security cameras.
The JA-80G detects mixtures of air and combustible gases or fumes (Natural Gas, Methane, Propane, Butane, Acetylene, GPL etc). The detector detects two levels of gas concentration, responding with two different reactions. The mains-powered detector indicates a gas leakage optically and acoustically and wirelessly transmits alarm.
Sensitivity
Gas | Methane | Propane | Iso-butane |
First level | 10 ± 3% LEL (0.50% vol) | 18 ± 3% LEL (0.30% vol) | 23 ± 3 % LEL (0.30% vol) |
Second level | 18 ± 3% LEL (0.30% vol) | 30 ± 3% LEL (0.50% vol) | 40 ± 3 % LEL (0.50% vol) |
LEL = Lower explosive limit (100%) according to IEC 60079-20-1: for methane 4.4% volume concentration, for propane 1.7%, for iso-butane 1.3%, calibrated in the production of iso-butane
