Storing DTMF code into contact

How can I store a contact in Raven with DTMF dialling codes included?

I often call my customer information line. When the call is answered I hear the offer like „for information about your tariff press 1, for information about your phone number press 2, …“ I usually choose the same options. Can I dial these options automatically on my Raven?

You can dial these options automatically as DTMF codes. There are two possibilities of sending the codes. They can be sent either automatically after the call is answered or you can be prompted to confirm the sending of the DTMF codes.

Send the DTMF code automatically

To save a phone number that will send the DTMF code automatically follow these steps:

  1. Open contact for editing or create a new contact
  2. Click into the field where contact number is edited.
  3. While editing the number press Pause followed by the DTMF code behind the phone number itself. Raven will then dial the phone number and send the DTMF code after the call is picked up.

    If you put in more Pauses, Raven will wait for a longer time before sending the DTMF codes.

    Example: when the phone number looks like 123456,789 Raven will dial 123456 and when the call is answered Raven will dial 789 as DTMF codes.

Send the DTMF code upon confirmation

To save a phone number that will ask you to confirm the sending of DTMF codes, follow these steps:

  1. Open contact for editing or create a new contact
  2. Click into the field where contact number is edited.
  3. While editing the number press Wait followed by the DTMF code behind the phone number to be dialled. Raven will then dial the phone number and prompt you to confirm the sending of the DTMF code.

    Example: when the phone number looks like 123456;789 Raven will dial 123456 and when the call is answered Raven ask you to confirm sending of the 789 as DTMF codes.
