Can I use Essence with headset?

Yes, you can use Essence with headset. You need a headset adaptor to connect your headset to Essence. Two types of headset adaptors are available:

1. Headset adaptor RJ-11 ↔ 2x 3,5 mm jack (buy here) and a PC-compatible headset with two separate connectors for MIC and HEADPHONES.

    

2. Adaptor Jabra GN1200 to connect Jabra headsets.

   Examples of suitable headsets:

   • Jabra GN 2100
   • Jabra Biz 2400

To make a call via your headset please follow these steps:

1. Disconnect the receiver cable from the phone and receiver. Leave the receiver on the phone.
2. Connect the adaptor above to the phone.
3. Connect your headset to the adaptor.
4. In your Essence select Options → Settings → Phone → Headset active→ select “ON” (for disabling the headset support select “OFF”)
5. For making, receiving or ending calls please use green tick button and red X button.
