How to set delay for entering and exiting room?

If you use use EYE-02 camera to guard our office. You have set “Exit delay” to be able to switch the camera to “WATCHING” and leave office without alarm. In the afternoon, when you leave our office, it works fine. But when you are coming back in the morning, camera reports alarm immediately. There is no time to switch it to “SLEEPING”. What is wrong?

There are two different settings necessary to achieve the desired result: “Exit delay” and “Delayed alarm”.

“Exit delay” ensures that you can switch the camera to “WATCHING” and leave your office without causing alarms. After receiving “WATCHING” command from you, camera waits for defined time. After this delay it switches to “WATCHING” and guards.

In JabloTool you can set “Exit delay” in “Configuration”, tab “General settings”, item “Exit delay”. It is set for the whole camera.

“Delayed alarm” ensures that you can enter your office and switch the camera to “SLEEPING”  (from “WATCINGH”) without causing alarms. In this case camera detects your presence immediately. Alarm is confirmed, but sending of alarm reports is postponed for defined time. If in this delay camera is switched to “SLEEPING”, reports are not sent to contacts. If camera is not switched to “SLEEPING”, report are sent to all contacts normally – only a few seconds later.
In JabloTool “Delayed alarm” is set in “Configuration”, tab “Internal detectors”. It is set individually for each detector in item “Reaction”. Recommended settings of reaction for you case can be: PIR – Alert only, MIP – Delayed alarm 25 seconds, TILT – Instant, GBS – Delayed alarm 25 second.
