Both types of headsets enable remote call control. Bluetooth headsets are paired as Bluetooth device to Raven. Ported headsets use base station which is connected to Raven by a cable. Base station communicates wirelessly with its head-gear. Ported headsets usually feature longer wireless range and better sound quality than Bluetooth headsets.<\/p>\n<h3>Bluetooth headsets<\/h3>\n<p>Raven with SW version 1.6.6 and newer supports <strong>any Bluetooth headset.<\/strong> To check your Raven SW version open the list of applications on the home screen, select <strong class=\"notranslate\"> Settings &rarr;  About phone &rarr; Firmware version<\/strong>. For firmware update please follow this <a href=\"\/help\/index.php\/how-to-update-raven\/\" title=\"How to update Raven\">guide<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Jabra has tested Raven with Bluetooth headsets. Visit <a href = \"http:\/\/www.jabra.com\/headsets-and-speakerphones\/compatibilityguide\" target = \"_blank\">this Jabra website<\/a> to see which Jabra Bluetooth headsets are compatible with Raven. <\/p>\n<p>In addition, we have tested these Bluetooth headsets with Raven:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plantronics Voyager Legend<\/li>\n<li>Plantronics Voyager Pro<\/li>\n<li>Plantronics Savi W740A-M<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/GDP-08.ENG_.MAN_.FAQ_.Supported_Headsets.01.png\" alt=\"Using Raven with Bluetooth headset\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Follow this <a href=\"\/help\/index.php\/using-headset-2\/\">guide<\/a> to pair Raven with Bluetooth headset.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"EHS\">Ported headsets<\/h3>\n<p>Ported headsets headsets are supported from in the SW version 1.8.7 and newer. To check your firmware version select <strong class=\"notranslate\"> Settings &rarr;  About phone &rarr; Firmware version<\/strong>. Click on <strong class=\"notranslate\">System updates<\/strong> to see if newer SW version is available.<\/p>\n<p>Following headsets are fully compatible with Raven<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Jabra <\/strong><br \/>\n         Jabra 9400, Jabra WHB003 and many more since Jabra has tested Raven with ported headsets. Visit <a href = \"http:\/\/www.jabra.com\/headsets-and-speakerphones\/compatibilityguide\">this Jabra website<\/a> to see which Jabra ported headsets are compatible with Raven. Enter \u201cRaven via headset port\u201d  into \u201cType to search\u201d<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sennheiser<\/strong> <br \/>\n            Sennheiser DW Office (we have tested this headset). Other Sennheiser headsets supporting the same DHSG standard and using the same ports are also compatible.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Plantronics <\/strong><br \/>\n            Plantronics Savi W740A-M (we have tested this headset). Other Plantronics headsets supporting the same DHSG standard and using the same ports are also compatible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To pair Raven with ported headset connect the headset to Raven and press call button on the headset. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/GDP-08.ENG_.MAN_.FAQ_.Supported_Headsets.02.png\" alt=\"Using Raven with ported headset\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Raven uses Electronic Hook Switch (EHS) socket to connect base station of ported headset. Raven uses the same EHS socket as Siemens phones.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/GDP-08.ENG_.MAN_.FAQ_.Supported_Headsets.03.png\" alt=\"EHS socket for ported headsets\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Please use following EHS cables designed for Siemens phones. Suitable cables are manufactured by Jablocom and Plantronics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jabra:<\/strong> Adaptor cable for Jabra &reg; headsets manufactured by Jablocom, part number JCM.009.HCJ, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.noabe.shop\/en\/adaptor-cable-for-jabra-headsets-for-raven.html\">buy here<\/a><\/strong>,<br \/>\n<strong>Sennheiser:<\/strong> Adaptor cable for Sennheiser &reg; headsets manufactured by Jablocom, part number JCM.010.HCS, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.noabe.shop\/en\/adaptor-cable-for-sennheiser-headset-for-raven.html\">buy here<\/a><\/strong>.<br \/>\n<strong>Plantronics:<\/strong> Use EHS Cable APS-11.<\/p>\n<p>Raven uses DHSG standard defined by Jabra to communicate with ported headsets. The standard comes from the specification of GN US Inc., revision 1.7.
