However, some of my Gmail contacts did not import to Essence. Why?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>You can add up to three phone number to each contact in Essence. These can be mobile number, home number and work number. If your contact in Gmail has no phone numbers stored in any of these categories it will not import into Essence. <\/p>\n<p>You can change the categories of phone numbers in Gmail and the contact will import. Follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Login to your <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gmail.com\">Gmail<\/a> account and select Contacts.<\/li>\n<p>\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/Select-contacts.png\" alt=\"Select Gmail contacts\" width=\"164\" height=\"339\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1295\" \/><\/p>\n<li>Scroll to the contact which did not import. Click on the drop-down box next to its phone number.<\/li>\n<p>\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/Contact-type-of-phone-number.png\" alt=\"Contact type of phone number\" width=\"356\" height=\"518\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1292\" \/><\/p>\n<li>Change the type of phone number either to <em>Mobile<\/em>, <em>Work<\/em> or <em>Home<\/em>. Contact will now import into <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jablotool.com\">JabloTool for phones<\/a> after next synchronization between Gmail and JabTotool.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Once the contact is in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jablotool.com\">JabloTool<\/a>, it will appear also in Essence after next contact synchronization. This is periodical but can also start the synchronization manually: on your phone select <strong>Options<\/strong>, <strong>Settings<\/strong>, <strong>Network<\/strong>, <strong>Synchronize now<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Back to overview &nbsp; I synchronized contacts on my Gmail account with Essence.
